On behalf of Holland Construction Services, Inc., I would like to offer a letter of recommendation for Chris Marshall with Verified Backups, for the work he has done with assuring our SQL databases are backed up and verified.

Chris first met our Preconstruction leaders at the GC Expo last year. This is where the relationship with Holland took off and our Precon leaders decided to bring Chris in to perform some database work that would allow the department to capture data that they have never been able to record. I was brought in to assist with getting Chris into our systems and access to everything that was needed for the Precon project. Throughout this process, Chris and I talked several times and out of those conversations came a need for Holland to hire Chris and his company, Verified Backups to make sure we are properly and securely backing up our SQL databases. However, backing up SQL databases is not what caught our attention about Verified Backups. These backups are then tested and verified to be working. A daily email is sent to let you know how the backup looks. A backed-up SQL database does the company no good unless it can be used in case of a disaster.

Chris Marshall and his company Verified Backups do something unique that I have not seen with any other companies. The backups are run nightly, but the unique thing for a SQL backup is that they are then tested and verified. As the IT Manager of Holland Construction, I can hang my hat on this knowing that if there is an issue that arises, we have guaranteed working backups.
